The Mercure Debrecen****Superior hotel opened its doors on 15 August 2022. During the period since opening, the hotel has been the official team accommodation for several official and international sporting events.

Sporting events require special attention, which starts with the room booking, it is important that a team and accompanying and contact persons are accommodated on the same floor if possible and for medical and equipment rooms, special attention must be paid to the emptying of the rooms and the provision of the necessary storage units.

For the athletes to achieve a good performance, several ingredients are required, and the hotel will provide the following professional support for the team, taking care in the development of the athletes’ menu, in the definition of the meals and, of course, keeping in mind the basic rules of a healthy lifestyle. In most sporting events, either a pre-determined menu is provided, so after many sporting events we can prepare menus and run the event with full knowledge and confidence.

By providing the right accommodation for the sports team, combined with the attention to the associated services, Mercure Debrecen****Superior can provide the peace of mind and a secure backdrop that can positively impact the team’s sporting performance.

Bus parking for sports teams is available on the grassy area next to the hotel.
