Gin Mare

Gin Mare originates from the small Spanish village of Vilanova i la Geltrú, located south of Barcelona, and is the result of the careful work of a family business, “Destilerías Mares.” The distillery created a one-of-a-kind gin that captures the flavors and atmosphere of the Mediterranean landscapes.At the entrance of the distillery stands a chapel, once a place of prayer for fishermen, with a history that goes back to the 18th century, when monks moved it brick by brick from the coast. It is here that the first batches of Gin Mare were made, and the still that produced those first bottles is still found at the distillery today.In Gin Mare’s aroma, fresh rosemary, sweet basil, and the distinct notes of Arbequina olives dominate, blending perfectly with the refreshing citrus flavors. This creates a rich, Mediterranean taste experience that brings the essence of the coastal landscape right to your glass.
